Why is it "low frequency gaming" instead of "infrared gaming community"? First, www.irgc.com is not avilable and any other combination of it is not pleasing to the eye nor the ear. Second, it is a pun on Infrared. If a wavelenth is longer the frequency will be smaller. Since Infrared lies on the longer end of the visible spectrum of light it has a lower frequency, hence, low frequency gaming.

infrared is a multi-gaming community with members based in the US and Canada. We play games such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and Garry's Mod (more here), but we do not currently operate any servers.
